It is a cancer of the plasma cells.

 

Clinical features

1.Bone pains:All bones.

2.Loss of appetite.

3.Nausea.

4.Constipation.

5.Polyuria.

6.Anaemia.

7.Weakness beloiw waist.

8.Renal failure.

9.pathological fracture.

10.Bleeding tendency due to thrombocytopenia.

.Bens jones proteins.

Bone marrow examintion

.Immature plasma cells.

 

Treatment

1.Melphalan IV.

2.Radiotherapy for bone pain.

3.Plenty of liquids orally.

4.Bicarbonates orally.

5.Blood transfusion for anaemia.

6.Analgesics for bone pain.
